ROCCA FICUZZA

A route through the area between Sciacca and Caltabellotta — we are at the highest peak of Sciacca, at an altitude of 901 meters.
Once you reach the top, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Sicilian Channel and the inland areas, where land, sea, rock, and sky come together to create a stunning panorama.
From the upper part, we’ll walk along the edge of the wind farm and visit the Gendarme (known as Calannarinu), a 7.5-meter-high stele.

Embark on an adventurous hike along a rocky 8 km trail, ideal for those with good muscular and cardiovascular endurance. Availability may vary depending on weather conditions.

Get Ready for the Trek

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Bring a K-Way, hat, protective sunglasses, water, and energy snacks. Trekking shoes and poles are highly recommended.
